Under Construction!

The Little Chicks are under construction!  We've turned the downstairs office into a playroom!  This weekend was full of painting, trimming, taping, mopping and moving the toys into the new playroom!
I can't wait for the Little Chicks to see it on Monday....pictures to come soon....!

Field Trip!

The Little Chicks have been learning about teeth and how to take care of them...they each got a new toothbrush and have been charting each time they brush!

On February 9th the Little Chicks are headed to the Dentist office for a field trip where they will learn about caring for their teeth!

February Fun!

I found these cute little hearts at Taipan Trading Center....the Little Chicks helped me decorate this painted tree branch all the while wondering, wondering if the hearts were real candy....
(shhhh...one bite would reveal they are made of rubber!)

Parents:  We will be having a Valentine's Party on February 14th...I am providing the valentines for the kids & the treats...it will be fun, fun, fun!

A very fun day...

The sun came out where we live and we celebrated Martin Luther King's birthday by playing in the snow, playing Potato Heads with other Little Chicks, watching movies, eating popcorn, playing the piano and creating art on the windows!  What a fun day, I think Mr. King would be pleased...

N is for Noodles

The Little Chicks have been learning about the letter "N" this week.  Noodles start with "N" so the kids have been counting noodles, making noodle necklaces and today we did a noodle collage.  To dye the noodles, just place a handful of noodles into a bag and add a few drops of food coloring.  Then lay them on some papertowel to dry.  Once dry, give the kids some glue and let them create!

It's fun to see all of the different collages the kids made....
